The UCoat system is a water-based coating that combines ease of application with exceptional durability. With a generous 90-minute work time, it’s user-friendly enough for anyone to apply. But don’t let its simplicity fool you—this system is built to last. Offering excellent chemical resistance, it can endure the daily wear and tear of a typical garage, with a lifespan of up to 15 years. Unlike some high-build coatings, the UCoat system flexes with the concrete, ensuring long-term performance. Plus, with a palette of twelve standard colors and two safety options, customizing your garage floor to match your style is a breeze.
Our UCoat epoxy floor coating system cost as low as 44¢ a square foot and provides good chemical and abrasion resistance.
The UCoat system is a thin-mil coating, which means it won’t provide the same thickness as some of our other options. Depending on the aesthetic you’re aiming for, this system offers a satin to semi-gloss finish, which doesn’t deliver the same level of light reflection as some of our thicker coatings. One important consideration is surface preparation—what you see before applying the coating will largely reflect in the finished result. Ensuring your surface is in the desired condition before application is key to achieving the best outcome.
Our UCoat with UGloss-AF system begins with our UCoat water based system, and then adds an additional solvent based urethane, high gloss top coat.
