The UCoat with UGloss-AF system is three coat system containing two coats of our UCoat water based epoxy and a top coat of our UGloss-AF solvent based polyurethane. Features of this system include flexibility of 1/8” mandrel, chemical and abrasion resistance and a high gloss finish making it a great system for medium to high traffic areas. The UGloss-AF top coat is available in a solid color finish or a clear finish allowing for floor graphics, striping or decorative flakes.
Since the UGloss-AF top coat is a solvent based product it should be applied in well ventilated areas such as manufacturing or warehouse areas or residential garages (UGlaze or UGloss can be used as a substitute for less ventilated areas).

The recommended application temperature range with UCoat with UGloss-AF is between 55° and 90°. The lower the temperature, the longer it dries and the higher the temperature, the quicker it dries. The ideal temperature to apply is 68° with low humidity.
The benefits of applying a solvent based polyurethane is easy 2 to 1 mixing ratio, about 90 minutes to apply and when applying a tinted solvent based polyurethane it typically dries a different shade allowing you to see potential miss spots.
Yes, you will want to apply the UFlek decorative flakes in the finish coat of the UCoat and use the UGloss-AF to seal the flakes in to maintain the ease of cleaning and without the flakes becoming a collection for dirt.
